# As-it-happens mention

As-it-happens mentions allow you to get notifications of matches inside Farcaster. The Alertcaster Bot will reply to any cast that matches with 'cc @yourusername'.

NOTE: If more than one user matches, they're bundled into a single reply (not sent separately). Mention alerts are only allowed for low volume matches and you don't get alerts for your own casts.
